About
Overtime Pay Calculator is a set of free tools for hourly and salaried workers, and the small employers who pay them, to estimate overtime, time-and-a-half, double-time, holiday and shift pay — and to check a pay statement line by line. Every result shows the rate, hours and multiplier it used.
Every result shows its working, and every figure the calculators use is listed onhow we calculate with the source it came from.
Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, nothing is stored, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Corrections
If a figure looks off, the fastest fix is a specific one: which calculator, what you entered, what you expected, and the source you are comparing against. Any correction is reflected on the how we calculate page.
Limits
These are gross-pay estimates for planning and for checking a paycheck. They do not decide whether a job is covered or exempt, they do not calculate taxes, and they are not legal advice. For a dispute about unpaid overtime, contact the US Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division or your state labor agency.
